Mariana Camacho is a Senior Fellow in the GW Competition and Innovation Lab ( GW CIL) and the Leader of the  GW CIL’s  Hispanic America Initiative.  

Additionally, she is a partner at La Firma Camacho Ordóñez Abogados in Bogota, Colombia. Mariana is also a professor of competition and economic law at Javeriana University and one of the leaders of the Artificial Intelligence and Law Lab at Andes University. Mariana has extensive experience advising national and international clients on matters relating to competition law, data privacy, and global public policy. 

She also has vast experience in administrative and jurisdictional litigation, especially before the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce in Colombia. Mariana holds a law degree from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana (Colombia) and a one-year Specialization in Competition Law from the same university. In addition, she holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree in Law and Technology from the University of California, Berkeley. Mariana is also certified as an Information Privacy Professional in Europe (CIPP/E).
