Robert D. Anderson

Robert Anderson is a Senior Fellow of the GW Competition & Innovation Lab of the George Washington University. He previously served as Senior Counsellor and Team Leader for Government Procurement and Competition Policy in the World Trade Organization (WTO) Secretariat where he worked for 22 years. 

Robert Anderson is also Honorary Professor in the School of Law at the University of Nottingham (UK). Earlier in his career, he worked in the Canadian Competition Bureau at senior levels.

He is author/co-author of more than 100 published articles/book chapters/comments or reports on international government procurement policy, competition policy and/or international trade policy. His most recent book is Combatting Corruption and Collusion in Public Procurement: a Challenge for Governments Worldwide (Oxford University Press, 2024) (joint with William E. Kovacic and Alison Jones).
